FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
November 9, 2006
December 1st
“Festival of Lights” Lafayette, LA
Sue Dent will return to Lily’s for Books from 6-9 PM
Over the summer, Sue Dent’s debut novel “Never Ceese” has continued to garner praise and pick up speed. Since Sue’s visit to Lily’s in July, she’s had numerous reasons to be proud. A recent review from Nicholas Grabowsky, author of Halloween IV (as well as author of numerous other outstanding horror novels) stated that “Never Ceese”:
“... read like the work of a master storyteller.”
The review ended on a high note as well with Mr. Grabowsky, whose literary admirers include the likes of Stephen King, Clive Barker, and Wes Craven, stating that “Never Ceese” was:
“... very imaginative, stylistic and highly entertaining. She excels without compromise to personal belief and the learned expertise it takes to write so well. I highly recommend it, and I can’t recommend it enough.”
Other reviews can be found on Sue’s website at www.neverceese.com, including another recent one by horror writer W.D. Gagliani of Wolf’s Trap. Please stop by Lily’s and visit with Sue. She looks forward to seeing you.
Never Ceese may be purchased at Lily’s for Books,
www.jscbooks.com, any Barnes & Nobles store and at
Amazon.
Okay, Sue, you lured me in. As a kid who grew up on King before becoming a Christian, I'm fascinated by anyone who attempts to write horror/supernatural in the CBA. I've written one, but with little interest from publishers. Now I've switched to mystery. I hadn't heard of your publisher before now, either. They sound like a growing company. I might have to check them out.
ReplyDeleteI'll be related to Lassie if it'll get me pubbed. No, I'm afraid Eric is not of the true Estradas.
ReplyDeleteWhich story? The 'spense?
That one is called "Soul Searcher" and it's about a guy who looks into the souls of a select few people and releases them to pursue their deepest desires (always pure of course, like writing!) This is all fine and dandy until he steps into the soul of a maniac. Then the bloodletting begins.
Fun for the whole family! I still think it's good for my first try. It just needs a home.
I loved your book (& my wife too). I bet it was a blast to write. Congrats on a job well done!
