Non Amazon review
***Update***
Non-Amazon review turned into a 5 star Amazon review. Gotta love that!
*************
Most of my readers won't post on Amazon but rather just send their thoughts of appreciation to me. Love it!! Keeps me writing you know. So here are a few words from a new fan who will be buying Forever Richard from me until Black Bed Sheet Books comes out with the Special Edition copy later next year. So with out further ado:
Sue,
You have left me with so many questions, why is Richard and Ceese's father a vampire now? Penelope is not dead- she is a vampire again? And is she Richard's love interest or is there something going on between Cassie and Richard- or does only Cassie want something to be going on. So Richard and Ceese are "normal" but they could become cursed again? I like it, you are an excellent author. Ceese seems like a sweet character.
Make sure you send me your address and who to make the check out to. Have a great week!
Your friend, Susanne Lafaye
Love that so many of my bigger fans are named Susan, Suzanne or some variation thereof. ;D
Love all my fans and soon to be fans. You are what keeps me writing. Okay, I'd write anyway but you give me purpose. ;)

Sales report for the month for Never Ceese ;)
Yes!!! No returns. You see, when you're with Lightning Source and a bought book is returned from the bookstore via Ingram or one of the other larger distributors (which can happen at anytime BTW if you make your book returnable which is the only way bookstores will order a book) Lighting Source destroys the return, even if it's in good shape. I'd like to say I made that up but this is what Lightning Source told me. When a book is returned, they automatically destroy it.
So the publisher, in this case me, eats the print cost of the book that was destroyed, which in this case is $4.33 and I have to give a full refund to the bookstore that sent the book back. Since bookstores are able to return books at will, I opted to make my book non-returnable to avoid eating the print cost. I did tell Lightning Source that I didn't know this about them when I signed on or I might have reconsidered. Their only consolation was to tell me that this is how the publishing industry works.
Really?
So yes, good news is no returns this month. But I only sold one book. HA! For a grand total of 9 this year with 2 returns bringing my profit to *Sue pecks on calculator* $1.50!!! Ooooohhh somebody buy me a steak!!!!
Just a reminder. When you see Never Ceese the paperback for sale in an an on-line store and they say they have so many copies for sale etc . . . They don't have squat. The store is lying which seems to be the trend for folks here in the publishing industry. Just didn't want you to think I was rolling in it. I'm not. But everyone else is and it ain't money they're rolling in. Did I just say that? I think I did. ;)

For interested publishers.
Disregard this blog. LOL It suggests that larger publishers actually see blogs from a peon like me and . . . well, that just isn't the case. I apologize for taking up cyber space with the ridiculous suggestion that they might. ;)
Oh yeah, you can use the e-mail associated with this blog. Now don't all ya'll respond at once!

Poor Richard doesn't get enough play. :(
Forever Richard is the second in my Thirsting for Blood Series and continues to garnish the same quality reviews that Never Ceese enjoys. Here's one that rivals any I could've hoped to have gotten from any first-line reviewers, (Publishers Weekly and the like) and my publisher didn't even have to submit an ARC. They pretty much called to make sure they were on the list. How cool is that! Yes the review is on my side panel but I thought today I'd make it front and center again. ;)

And thanks Craig and Maryann for encouraging me to keep writing even when I can hardly see a reason to.

Pluto Award Nomination! TWO BOOKS!
Pluto Award Nomination! Say it once say it twice either way it's sweeeet! Somehow I have to forget about this now so I don't worry endlessly about the outcome. *Sue biting nails.* Well, at least I'm not biting necks. ;)

Fair Warning!
And to help you along, here's one way to order both. Just click on the image to the left.
To buy each book individually, look in the sidebar and click there. Again, you can order these books wherever books are sold but you won't typically find them on bookstore shelves yet. We all have to start somewhere, right? All bookstores can order them though, so there ya go. :)
This is a nice way to bundle these two books. Amazon is notorious for linking my work with books from an affiliation that excludes based on whether a publisher pays a fee and writes targeted fiction. Amazon has complete control of this and I can't seem to keep it from happening.
This is the only way I know to nip some of that activity.
God Bless and Merry Christmas.

New interview with Sue Dent up!
New Sue Dent interview and chance to win Never Ceese. Sorry but you have to pay for Forever Richard dagnabbit! How else will I be able to write if I don't make any money? ;)
Okay so go here for your chance.
I met K Dawn Byrd on Facebook after joining a group called Christian Fiction Gathering. If you're on FaceBook you should look this group up. One of the first Christian Fiction groups I've found on FaceBook that treat non-affiliated Christian authors with equal value as affiliated ones. You certainly don't find that everyday. :)
There's a question you have to answer for your chance to win but it's fairly easy.

Forever Richard - "Sold Out"
Okay does it count when I've sold all I have? LOL Hey, it's something, right? So I ordered ten more and they will be here in a few days. First come first serve and I'll have to raise the price to twelve dollars with no shipping or twelve dollars with shipping depending on how I can work pay pal. Even at that I don't make squat on the book but I'm hoping y'all get busy with that there ordering process so that won't matter. :D
But yes, technically Forever Richard is sold out.

Publishers welcome to ask.:)
Just in case there was any question, I, Sue Dent, of S D Enterprises do own the rights to Never Ceese the paperback and did have to go through Lightning Source when my first publisher went defunct as a traditional publisher. Yep. Now I get to deal with the POD stigma despite being traditionally published initially. Yes, I can get into any bookstore but I get woefully fed up defending my book because of the POD status. Get a grip!!!
Having traditional distribution would certainly make things nicer. If you're interested, you can of course contact me. :)
And yes, I think I'll exclude any and all affiliated publishers who might have the nerve to ask. LOL (Like I have to worry about that.)
That's all. Just wanted to share. :)

UK Borders stores get it right. US Borders stores can't compete.
Checked the listing for Forever Ricahrd on www.borders.com here in the U.S. www.borders.com The book cover they have was never entered by my publisher, it's listed under Christian Fiction which is also inaccurate and they show it not available in stores.
Checked the UK Borders on-line site here and they have the accurate cover as listed by my publisher, the correct category horror and ghost stories and I'd not be surprised if it weren't in stock in some of their stores.
And on both books including the paperback version of Never Ceese free delivery to your local store. The US Borders on-line store doesn't even list Never Ceese the paperback and has no image for the hardback which they show as backordered. Amazing. Simply amazing.
Just more proof that the US publishing world is totally screwed up. Aw, but ya'll already knew that.

Never Ceese and Forever Richard both for $20.00
Say it ain't so! Yes, I'm offering both Never Ceese (paperback) and Forever Richard for a limited time for $20.00 with free shipping in the U.S. and both can be autographed.
So to get your hands on the first two books in my Thirsting for Blood series, the first vampire/werewolf series to ever appeal to general market readers as well as to that narrowly targeted market of Christians CBA and ECPA affiliated publishers serve, click HERE now!
Keep in mind that presently you can't find these in the larger Christian bookstores on-line or otherwise even though both books have been approved for distribution to this market and they will make you pay shipping. Here's one way around that and you'll be supporting me and perhaps then I can afford to keep writing.:)Hopefully you enjoy my writing and that point won't backfire on me. LOL
Anyway, thanks for all y'all's support.
I do have some hardback copies left and will be offering a smashing deal on them soon. Watch for that!
Get the book that affiliated Christian publishers choose to ignore much the way they ignored The Shack until they couldn't ignore it any longer.
